Gio is a seasoned paralegal that currently supports the firm’s litigation department. She launched her paralegal career after attaining a Paralegal Studies Certification from Pace University and hasn’t stopped developing her knowledge and skills. From complex personal injury litigation cases to pre-litigation civil rights cases, she is involved from beginning to end. While most of her experience has been in litigation, she also has experience with employment law and supports the firm’s Employee Justice Department. Gio’s extensive experience, energy, work ethic, team focus, and deep technical skills enrich the firm’s litigation team through all aspects of a case, including large-scale document production, pre-trial preparation and in-courtroom trial support. She also manages the firm’s paralegals, litigation assistants, and litigation docket clerk, a team of dedicated professionals committed to excellence in client services. Gio thrives on finding fast and creative solutions to extremely challenging issues that come up day-to-day in any legal matter. Gio’s innate interpersonal skills are invaluable to the Firm’s attorneys and clients considering the volume of communication clients and attorneys share.
Gio was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She is a native Spanish speaker, daughter to Dominican immigrants, and is eager to assist her community.
