Evan Mendelson is a litigation paralegal based in Joseph & Norinsberg LLP’s World Trade Center office, where he supports the firm’s employment law and civil rights practice. With a background spanning criminal law and personal injury on both the plaintiff and defense sides, Evan brings a strong command of procedural litigation and a client-centered, detail-driven approach to every matter. His work includes drafting motions and legal documents, managing discovery, conducting legal research, organizing exhibits, preparing case materials, and supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation.
Evan is fluent in Spanish and French, allowing him to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and ensure clarity, accessibility, and trust in every interaction. As a Hispanic legal professional, he is especially committed to providing culturally informed support to clients navigating sensitive workplace issues.
He studied Politics at The New School in Manhattan, graduating with honors, where he engaged in policy research, student advocacy, and community-focused work. During college, Evan completed multiple legal internships, gaining early experience in client communication, motion practice, and litigation support. He also worked with nonprofits based in Malawi, Africa, which focused on expanding access to education through sports programs for underdeveloped communities—an experience that continues to inform his commitment to equity and social impact. Originally from San Francisco, he brings a cross-regional perspective and a deep dedication to social justice that shapes his work at the firm.
