Seamus began practicing law in 2015 and has devoted the substantial majority of his legal career to representing plaintiffs in employment, civil rights, sexual harassment, and sexual assault matters. He has litigated extensively in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York State Division of Human Rights. Over the course of his career, Seamus has obtained multiple millions of dollars in settlements for his clients, in addition to favorable judgments and court rulings.
Seamus has represented employees and survivors against major corporations, financial institutions, airlines, luxury brands, media companies, restaurant chains, multinational businesses, and high-profile individuals. His cases have involved discrimination based on race, sex, disability, pregnancy and other protected characteristics; sexual harassment and hostile work environment claims; retaliation and wrongful termination; whistleblower claims; and claims arising from sexual assault and other gender-motivated violence.

Among his notable matters, Seamus represented the plaintiff in Doe v. Olive Leaves, Inc., an employment discrimination and sexual assault action in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Following years of litigation, the Court awarded judgment in the plaintiff’s favor on claims including employment discrimination under federal, state, and city law, assault and battery, and New York City’s Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, together with an award of $500,000 in damages, attorneys’ fees, costs, and interest.
Seamus has also represented survivors in high-profile sexual assault litigation. In a federal action brought against former NBA player Josh Jackson, Seamus successfully advocated for his client’s right to litigate under a pseudonym after the defendant opposed her request to remain anonymous. The federal court ruled in his client’s favor, permitting her to proceed as Jane Doe in a case that received national media attention.
Before practicing law, Seamus worked as a post-production audio engineer on major motion pictures and television productions as a member of IATSE Local 700, the Motion Picture Editors Guild. While at CUNY School of Law, he served as a student attorney in the school’s mediation clinic, mediating civil disputes pro bono in Queens County Civil Court.
